Press Release - Small-Town Secrets Turn Deadly in HAPPY HALLOWEEN, Out April 14

Uncork’d Entertainment will release HAPPY HALLOWEEN, a stylish and suspenseful teen horror film written and directed by Brittney Greer, on April 14, 2026, across all digital platforms.

Watch the Trailer:

Blending classic slasher nostalgia with a modern social media twist, HAPPY HALLOWEEN delivers a whodunit mystery set in a small town obsessed with Halloween. With echoes of iconic films like Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, HAPPY HALLOWEEN pays homage to genre favorites while carving out its own identity.

The film follows Hadley (Emma Reinagel), a teenager returning home after surviving a traumatic Halloween prank gone horribly wrong. As she attempts to rebuild her life, a new wave of brutal killings rocks her community—each murder broadcast across social media in real time. With suspicion falling on nearly everyone around her, Hadley must confront her past and uncover the truth before the killer strikes again.

Shot on location in the Ozarks, the film further highlights Greer as an emerging female voice in genre filmmaking. Following its debut at Pigeon Shrine FrightFest and festival run including GASP! Horror Film Festival, HAPPY HALLOWEEN went on to win Best Feature Film at the Berryville Film Festival.

Written with sharp, relatable teen characters that are brought to life by a dynamic young cast—including Aline O’Neill, Cameron Mabie, Graham Weldin, and Jack Cathcart—HAPPY HALLOWEEN balances mystery, humor, and escalating terror.
